Just finished writing an assignment on the new Act and I was wondering the opinions of other Australians as to if it is a good thing or a bad thing.

I don't completely agree with everything in the act, but I think it is a good thing for the most part.
I have always been against trade unions and seem to always see completely opposite to them [img]tongue.gif[/img] But rather than go into a big political argument, I will just say I agree (not that much can be done about it now....) |

Well the major complaint against it seems to be the removal of unfair dismissal laws for companies of under 100 employees.

I keep hearing a lot of heated opinions about the whole thing but, so far, not a single person has been able to tell me exactly what the changes imply. I haven't voted because the simple fact is i don't know. *shrugs*
