So...am I starting to get on anybody's nerves yet? I hate to confess it but I have ANOTHER question!!! I must definitely be the one who's posted the most new threads these last days...
I've recently discovered how to play a multiplayer game where all NPCs are created by me. Now I'm trying to get a nice, balanced, interesting party. Any suggestions? I myself thought somewhere along the lines of: 1. Monk 2. Avenger Druid 3. Specialist Mage (which is best?)(I bet you're gonna say Necromancer, eh?) 4. Swashbuckler (maybe dualled to mage, that depends on 5.) 5. Fighter/Cleric or Fighter/Cleric/Mage (depending on whether it's smart to dual the Swashbuckler) 6. Undead Hunter Paladin I know it's a bit heavy on the magic side but I figured the Fighter/Cleric, Swashbuckler and the Druid can be tanks as well -at least to a certain extent- and I really like spellcasters |

Monk's are definately cool!
Otherwise, I would encourage you to only have 4 or 5 player characters. If you have 6 you can't pick up any NPCs, and even if you don't want to keep them you'll miss out on some great quests. I know most quests can be completed without actually adding the character to your party, but some I believe are necessary. Korgan and the graveyard quest is one of these I believe. Doing this you could pick up one or two NPCs, run their quests and then dump them. |

Yes I'm considering that but the problem is: I want to try out as many classes as possible and I already thought 6 was too little!

Hm well (shut your ears little ones)
1 Monks suck 2 Druids overall Suck 3 Be a Necromancer coz everybody wants to be like Rikard Necromancer Extraodinair 4 Dual him 5 Never use a Fighter cleric instead of a Ranger cleric coz ranger clerics get Druid spells more than druids do (inmagine 3 creeping dooms) 6 ehm well all paladins are nice i'f ya really wanna role play chose a Cavalier and give him dragon equipment Well what should you get instead of the monk and the druid An Archer or Stalker 2 a Bard/Cleric-of-Helm/Conjurer |

Yes Rikard could you help me with that?
You said before that a ranger/cleric is a great character due to combination of Druid/Cleric spells so I tried in a MP game to dual my ranger but I couldn't! His wisdom was 18 so that's not the problem and he was human. What am I missing???? Oh yeah, 1. Not everybody wants to be like Rikard Necromancer Extraodinaire...I for one couldn't stand it! 2. I'd rather have an avenger druid than a bard, actually! |
