The game is great! This is the first game since BGII-SoA that has made me repeatedly late for work.

why would bioware release 2 titles so close together like that though? arent they gonna lose money doing that?

Yes they do look at Blizzard they dont release game before allmost 1-2 year are gone and the same with Westwood so they are in some of a kind of a "money crises" maby at Bioware!!

I don't think they planned to - from what I hear IWD II was delayed considerably. They were hoping to release that well before NWN but Bio had quite a few problems converting the IE to the 3rd Ed ruleset. No word on when that's going to go gold yet - and I imagine they wouldn't be too keen to release that so soon after NWN - they might cannibalize some of their NWN sales. People don't have an unlimited pool of money to spend, unfortunately. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Well, to my understanding, Black Isle is working on IWD 2 and BioWare was the one who made NwN. I don`t think they teamed up on those projects. '

You are correct. Bioware's last DnD game was BG2 (before NwN of course). IwD and IwD 2 were made by Black Isle.
