try pressing CTRL + ALT + DELETE to bring up the menu, close down everything except explorer and systray. see if that helps.

I have found a way to keep my game from freezeing , sort of. I found that if I keep the camera zoomed in close on my character in the areas it usualy freezes up in the game just stutters instead of freezing solid. Any ideas as to the cause of that diffrence?

I almost have it fixed!!! After reading about sound cards causing hang up problems I DL'ed up to date drivers for my soundcard , a soundBlaster 128 PCI card. The new driver made the game unplayable because NWN doesnt recognise when you make system or driver changes !!! I discovered this by looking in some of the 'INI" files. It still read my old memory amounts and old device driver names after I had updated and changed everything. After i found that out I un installed and re installed. Now the game recognizes my ner settings. I also hit the update button and there is a new version out. It is now vers. 1.2!! The game runs much better now than it did before , BUT it still fragging hangs up in the halls of law and the city !!!!
