There's a couple ways. Depends on the other info you have.

Molar mass? Does that have anything to do with teeth?

Chemistry song 13
O Come All Ye Gases O Come all yea gases diatomic wonders O come yea, o come yea calls Avogadro. O come yea in moles 6 x 10 to the 23rd O molar mass and molecules O volume, pressure and temperature O molar volume of gases at S.T.P. As someone said molar mass is a property calculated differently depending on the other known variables of the system. Is it a gas and do you know the partial pressure and volume? Is it a heterogen solution and do you know the concentration and volume? Is it a solid and do you know the mass?

Just molar mass is often only the values from the periodic system added together like for H20 2*1,008+16,00= 18,02g/mol for water

Oh, duh, I was thinking he was asking number of mols. Yeah, you just add up the mass of each element in the compound.

Yeah, for the most part it's three-variable algebra. ax=b x=b/a a=b/x
Now, to find the Molar mass of a molecule, you add the Molar masses of each constituent atom...meaning that if there are two of any of them, you add it in twice, etc. Single-element Molar masses are found on the periodic table...just look it up...chemists do Ask Dron Cah for more! He's a chemistry-oriented person...
