Any ideas why all my characters' hit point gain per level has dropped to the mininum?

i.e. I currently have a Level 9 Paladin. When he reached level 10 he only gained 3 hit points. The same thing happens with Minsc and Jahera, and probably the other characters as well. I have applied the patch, and have tried at all the difficulty levels for the gain maximum hit points rule, which didn't help.

Is this a bug or have I missed something?

No that is the way tha game works

Fighter types get 3hp pr. lvl. after the 9th
Clerics get 2hp
the rest get only 1hp

Your game works fine - have fun completing it

I don't gain more hp a level so I guess it's right. I read somewhere that mage classes get 1 hp per level and fighter classes 3 hp.
