read from a previous post that if a NPC exceeds the 2.75 million or so experience points cap built into the game they will leave you. What if you've installed the experience cap remover? will they still leave you?

please answer anyone who's gone thru abd finished the game.

If you don't have the cap remover, the NPCs stop at the limit like you, and do not leave the party. (once Mazzy hits her limit will not let you drop her at all!)

If you do have the cap remover....well, Armisael said he got Viconia up to lvl 30 so draw your own conclusion.

I prefer to leave the cap restriction active to retain game balance, but each to their own.

U don't need to worry about anything. The cap is just to stop characters from advancing. doesn't affect anything else in the game. it's just there for game balance. it only supports advancement to certain levels anyway even if u remove the cap, your hps will increase and you may get more spells but only to a certain point. for example you can't get more than 3 level 9 spells if you're a mage unless you manually add them using Shadowcheater.
