The proprietor asks that you follow a few simple guidelines: this is a real conversation zone, not a role-play zone* no flaming; if you disagree with a viewpoint expressed by any patron, please do so in a civil manner * any topic is fair game, but keep posts to the standards that Ziroc has set for the entire forum, please (ie: foul language is not appropriate and things should be suitable for all audiences) -a side note from Cloudy: I see this as a place for those short conversations about a new baby or the latest soccer fiasco, not for things that are big enough to warrant their own threads, by all means give those things the space they need and post separately! * Please, no one word or smiley posts (Ziroc has declared them 'real spam' and the proprietor doesn't want the reputuation of "good spam" to suffer!) * do feel free to be serious or silly and enjoy the company of others while you are here. By all means POST if you have something to say, even to start another topic , we can handle multiple chats, we're a CAFE!!! But be courteous and don't disrupt a conversation just to disrupt it. Come on in! The bar is stocked with coffees, teas, juices and waters from around the world. And purple napkins, of course! The lighting is low, the golden oak counters and tables glow with inviting warmth. Near the window, the lighting is brighter, as comfy, plush leather armchairs wait for those who'd like to read a book while relaxing to music or just lazily watch the world go by. I have had the most wonderful day. Nothing fancy, just a really relaxing day! I spent the morning playing NWN and sitting with my two orange kitties, enjoying a bit of solitude and quiet. Then late morning and early afternoon I had some...err......romantic time with my love, Nachtrafe. We spent some time doing household chores, making a really fantastic lunch of bbq pork sandwiches and then talking, laughing, hugging, playing computer games, watching tv...just a really nice time! My cats were super cuddly, the weather outside was grey and cold and sometimes rainy, but inside it was warm and toasty and delightful.

Hi! This is my first time in Cloudy's Cafe; it really looks like a lovely place. My compliments to you, Cloudy. And it sounds like you've had a wonderful day.
Anyone ever had those times where you're exhausted for no reason? I'm feeling that way right now. Oh, but Michigan won its football game today! I'm so happy! Any UofM alums out there?

Hi Lord Starshadow! Welcome to the Cafe!
Oh yes, I know how you feel! Those "gee, why am I so TIRED today" days! Sometimes I write it off to allergies, myself.

Tanks for the welcome Cloudy!
Hmm... I know it's not allergies because I have none, but it might be the strange weather here in Michigan. It always seems to bother my sinuses. |

Hello everyone!
Hi, Cloudy, you are stirring betimes this morning! I've been up late working on the Dungeon Siege maps for LadyZekke again and lost track of time. LOL, it happens when I get that focused. -Sazerac

Thanks for the welcomes, Scholarcs and Downunda.
Downunda: I wish I was getting your weather right now. It's so cold here in Michigan. I'm freezing my... er, tail... off. By the way, are there any snacks in the cafe? I've got a case of the late-night munchies right now. Oops, almost forgot to say hi to Sazerac. Hi Sazerac! [ 10-20-2002, 02:53 AM: Message edited by: Lord Starshadow ] |
