Ever heard of a pack of domestic cats dragging a small child into into the woods and ripping it limb to limb just for fun. Ever heard of a domectic cat attacking a woman and her baby in the park and tearing the face off the baby. Dogs are Mans best friend my ass, even if you spend at least 250 hrs training a dog to be a pet all he ever becomes is a cold blooded Killer! and even if you do train him just let him loose with two other Dogs and you have a moving target times three. Dogs suck, they are murdering worthless hunks of flesh that the world would be better off without.
1n 1987 A pure bred Collie, A labradore Retriever, and A Standard poodle were all loose in this park with their masters all sitting at A picknick table talking. Their Dogs were all well trained house broke family pets that never had ever hurt a fly untill that spring saterday afternoon when they tore the face completely off my Sisters Baby and ran into the wooded area at the edge of the park and then ripped its arms off of the corps while my Sister tried to beat the Dogs off and away from her child with her bare hands, she ended up with over 500 stiches and almost died too. I have never liked Dogs and never will except for one thing they make good pistol targets.
I have Nine Cats and they are smarter and cleaner then any Dog I have ever met. Every step in cat poop walking your lawn? I don't think so!

Take a cat pound for pound vs. any animal alive out there except Badger or Wolverine. They rule and always have. Flurry of scratches should make D&D rules as far as I can bleed

And what about the cat that jumped in the baby's face in that movie, or cats who curl up to sleep in a newborn's face?

your talking about a movie and an old wifes tale Luvian, sorry but you don't make any point but that of superstition. (sp?) What to talk about a movie cat then watch
"A Cats Eye" and the people they save, but those are still just movies.

Superstition versus biased personal opinion, that sound like a good match to me!

Edit: Alson I agree with you 100% about Labs I love Black Labs.
I actually prefer the white ones - I always had one, ever since I was a baby. Blacks are definitely more impressive, though. They're more... mysterious.

I feel I have to put in a good word for parrots here - I love cats, but parrots are the best pets.

They have an attitude similar to a cat, are even more loyal than dogs, but they can learn to talk. There is nothing quite like having a pet that can tell you what it wants!
