Hi,

I am playing a human wild mage and just finished the circus tent, so I'm right at the beginning
I have to admit that they are pretty cool, they can memorize any spell and the wild serge has shown to have some nice bonuses, especially when it doubles or triples damage. Of course the downside is that a few times the spell is also cast on myself - but I haven't been killed yet

Just curious then, anyone else use this class? They seem to have the potential to get really powerful- much more so than specialist mages, not to mention their wild serge suits the god-child image the character has IMO.

I also have a little problem, I have a pseudo dragon, and he used to have the spell blur...but now it seems that he can't cast it anymore, is this a bug?
I had another weird problem when I cast melf minute meteors and they somehow locked- I had 3 left, but could not throw them, sleeping did not make them dispell, and neither did using a spell help. I could not even change weapons, so I had to revert to a previous save. Is there some kind of bug with this spell as well?

Regardless, wild mages are cool

No bugs. The MMM problem may be due to a surge, but you could have tried dispelling yourself via dispel magic. Btw, dont use the familiar for combat. It dies, you lose hp and con (more hp, but permanent)

Well I solved the familiar problem, all I had to do was rest and then the blur spell was restored. Haven't changed into a female yet! When I was in the coppercoronet dueling in the pit with the thug I cast magic missle but it surged and I had blindness cast on myself instead. So there I was, a blind scrawny mage in a robe running around in a circle screaming for minsc to do something useful such as firing an arrow or something. I took two hits in the gut and was out of it.
