Does anyone know if there's any way to program a macro (set of actions under a keystroke) in Internet Explorer?

I use macros all the time in Word and Excel, and could really use them in IE for things I do repeatedly. Unfortunately, I generally have to end up copying and pasting, and if I'm doing more than one task, there's no way to save it in the clipboard without the new item removing it from the clipboard.

I checked Microsoft's website and IE's help program and both of them were about as helpful as tits on a bull, pardon my lingo, and I expected no better from either one . I just wanted to ask if anyone else knew of a way to do this...or knew of a good third-party utility that lets you program and save macros for use in any application.

Thanks in advance!

Great question. I myself have wondered that very same thing. As far as third party software goes, I think some keyboards come w/ software that will allow you to make quick keys that do multiple tasks. I know the Microsoft keyboards do, but if you enable that function it leaves a program running in the systray taking up system resources.

I look forward to someone having a solution!
