I think that BG is better than BG2:SoA. In BG nothing is boring, but in BG2:SoA it's a lot of things that are boring ex. The Underdark.
Oh im so curious on the new Expansion pack to BG2:SoA.
It will be released the 5th of may. It's so exciting.
And what RPG games do you geys play and what is the best RPG game?

Here is my top:
BG
BG2:SoA
Icewind Dale/Heart of Winter
Wizards & Warriors

I like Baldurs Gate 1 and 2 exactly the same...........
The only problem with Baldurs gate 2 being there isn't really enough outdoor maps like there was in Baldurs Gate 1. Maybe they will change this in the expansion pack. I hope so.

Here's the List........
Baldurs Gate 1/2
Planescape Torment
Ultimate Online
Icewind Dale
Diablo 2

I like BG2 better. I think the NPC interaction brings out the story more. Also hi res games are so nice. It is so frustrating playing 640x480 on a 22" monitor.

I like a bit from each game...
BG1, the wilderness exploration was great, but in BG2, the NPC interaction adds a whole different element...

Some bits of BG2 are a tedious (underwater city) and boring, but there are some bits that are much better than a lot of the area's in BG1. Uamr hills, Underdark, Bodhi's lair, the Asylum...

I pretty much only play BG1, and BG2
although I have played Fallout 2, which is sort of an RPG

Only part I find real boring is Irenicus Dungeon, once you finished the game doing it a second or third time that dongeon seems so boring you just want to rush through it just to get to chapter 2 afew other dungeons one they have been done once they are boring also. I Imagine that's why they put the teleport mirror in the asylum so those who din't like to do the underwater quest could skip it completely and make the game harder without the cheat cloak as some call it.
