Does anybody here know where I could find copies of some Japanese Anime? Specifically 'Street fighter' and 'Macross'. I am intrested in the Japanese versions with English subtitles---is it just me or do the the American voice actors always make the characters sound like pansies?

However, there are some where the dubbing has been excellent, Tenchi Muyo being a classic example. I like Natsuki Anime for mine. Though he's mainly UK based, he does export ot other countries... |

Thanks slicer and cav---i appreciate the sites. You guys have any reccomendations for good anime. My preference is sci-fi, but I'll check out anything good. Don't like things that are 'too' weird though. A little bit is ok.

the best way to go is to get DVDs, that way you can change the language and subtitles and mix and match
If you want a good anime that I recomend: Fooley Cooley is the best anime of all time. StreetFighter Alpha The Movie is here. The Whole Macross Series is here. Macross Plus DVDs are here Read Or Die Is another REALLY really good recomendition of mine, as is Photon. Oh yeah and one final recomendation: If you want to watch an anime about watching anime then this anime is worth watching!
