School novels poll?! This is major!!!

Have you ever had to read a book for school that was actually good, and didn't have to do with some sort of raisism. Some books I've read for school are Diary of Ann Frank, How to kill a mockingbird, and a few others. Mockingbird was pretty good, but it had raisism. If you can name one a school has made you read that doesn't have raisism and is good,(can't be a short story, just novels) plz reply.

Animal Farm was a good one. As well all works of the swedish authors Jan Gulliou and August Strindberg.

Read "the Hobbit" (3rd or 4th time thru) in 9th grade English, no racism there

These are just a few I can think of off the top of my head right now.
