Whoo Hoo!!!! I finally roasted, toasted and froze those darn mantraps outside of Shurugeon Castle!!!

Thanks to Sezerac's suggestion of the little path between the trees, I stood with my back to the trees across the way and reduced all 4 of them to mulch!

Life is soooooo sweet

Just had to share...hope you're day is going as well!

BTW, can anyone explain to me how you "use" the books, please? I'm a bit confuzzled.

Thanks!

Thanks Wyv!

My heart was pounding! The whole time I was flamestriking and iceballing I was saying to the screen "Now, don't you come through those trees you octopus armed fly trap"!

And WELCOME BACK, Wyv! It's so good to "see" (LOL pun intended) you around!

Congratulations, Tree!
Death to mantraps!!!
As to books - simply go to inventory screen, then right-click on the book you intend to use and choose the appropriate option ("read" for special books and "invoke" for spell-books).
Good luck!

Congratulations on getting past those mantraps! I remember the YES! feeling of defeating those things being more satisfying than actually beating the game! Now that you're stong enough to defeat them, NOTHING will hold you back!
