Good counterattacking effort from SoKor to beat Greece but geez Greece were woeful. I haven't seen teams like Honduras etc play yet but Greece is my early choice for worst team in this WC. No passion, no direction no cohesion at all. They only improved when they brought some subbies in and Otto's going to have to make some changes I reckon.

SoKor with some problems in the centre of their defence though - Nigeria and Argentina will make them pay unlike the Greeks. They need to tighten that area up.

Park Ji Sung scores! Woot!!

SK is gonna face a much tougher match against Argentina and Nigeria. Their central defence looks very unconvincing. Messi and Tevez is gonna break them apart.

Speaking of which, Messi put up a 5 star show today but unable to score, the Nigerian goalkeeper reminds me of the goalkeepers in championshp manager, ie able to block anything you kick at him. Veron is terrible with his passing. Di Maria is missing almost all the time. Argentina is lucky because Nigeria can't put up a good cross.

For Nigeria, an awful bad miss by that Uche. That's an open goal and he could have leveled the match there.

Gonna wait for England vs USA match (2am). It's weekend afterall. Wanna see Rooney play.

Half time in England v USA and USA are very lucky for the score to be 1-1. I wouldn't want to be in England's goaly's shoes at the end of this if it stays at that.

Ed: lol johnny. Two highlights there.

I saw this story about the new ball a couple days ago. I saw part of the US/England game (about the middle 1/3 - didn't get to see either goal) but didn't really notice anything unusual. Didn't hear anybody mention it either. Maybe somebody should've showed it to England's goalie?

Robert Green. LOL

Clamity James will be proud of him.

I got 3 words for the match. England was awful.

The 2 wingers can't cross, heskey can't shoot, lampard was missing and can't become the man in front of the 2 centrebacks, rooney was subdue most of the time.

I would like to applaud the English keeper for his kindness.

Happy Laughing Re: World cup

We (USA) had a few good chances to win the game second half. Would have been so great if we won!!

Also I just watched the video about the different soccerballs and just figured out what that droning noise at the soccer games is. Its some sort of trumpt like plastic instrument. Anyone want to tell me about it?

Those trumpet things are called vuvuzela.

I find them annoying. You can't hear anything else but those deafening noise. I hope it doesn't get become a norm in other football matches.
