I think you'd better ask it in the IWDII forum, it's under Ironworks Classics, instead of here in the NWN forum

There are two ways. You can ask the people around to give you directions to where ever you want to go, or you can use Wilderness Lore skill to navigate the woods. Once you complete the main quests related to the woods, you get the chance to kill off some treants and exit the woods.

Too right Bozos, I was making very little progress through the Woods until the good folk here on the forum reminded me to use Wilderness Lore. Using this skill made it much easier to find the way.

Actually i found that Wilderness Lore is the easiest....Bozos i never seen any people in the fell wood other then the elf, but i guess thats beside the point....Good Luck TNT use the wilderness lore untill you get to a certain elf.

About the people who give you directions, they're not the ones in the woods but the ones in the village. Kruttu and Venla give you tips and quests about the woods. The X key is very usefull in the woods.

The "elf" (I think she's a Dryad or Wood Nymph) actually does give you exact directions to the second half of the Fell Woods quests (the part after you've found the Horn, returned it and had to go back) if asked by a Ranger or Druid, but you still need Wilderness Lore to get to the starting point of her directions....
