I got a kickass tower, and now that I look at it, I'd love to be able to sit anywhere I want, and watch TV while writing reports and what-not...

*sniff*

I need a(nother) laptop ... *points at the four he already owns* but they're all... um... not up to date

Smart move but just hope it doesn't end up with her using it more then you do, while watching her progames on TV and demanding you be there with her.

So now, if I understand it right, she will get a shell of a husband right next to her instead of a shell of a husband in another room.

Can something be done about football games on TV too ? A month ago, I told my husband that I had bought him chocolate and where I had put it, and he said "yes, yes" while watching his football game. Next evening, he comes to me and says "You have forgotten to buy me chocolate, I have been looking for it this morning and couldn't find any" ...

LOL Moiraine... I imagine you explained your husband where he could find his chocolate and what EXACTLY he could do with it

Please report back later Ronn_Bman, whether your solution really worked out. Maybe I'll follow your path - only if you succeeded that is

Moiraine, that pretty much sums things up.

Ronn, . That´s for blaming it all on us. I know what you mean. I tend to spend my days in front of the computer as well with Johs by my side/in my lap. We deviced something else in our house. After dinner is family time. No more IW, no more pointless games, instead I spend that time with the hubby and Jackie (although she prefers to watch TV or play some game on the computer). But you do whatever works for you. I think that you perhaps should reconsifder some since it is obvious your wife wants to spend some more time with you.

Oh, Borvik, nothing as aggressive as that, I am a peaceful woman ... I considered my job would be sooo much easier if I went on strike and ignored his requests for the next shopping trips !

I also profusely quoted a French commercial on air a while ago : there is a woman talking to a man in a bar and asking him "What do you do tonight? 'Cause my husband has a football game".

Nah, I believe my hubbie, being a total devil, has found the perfect solution years ago : he showed me the delights of computer games - so now, we have both our own computer, and can be happy shells of husband and wife sharing the same room ...
