I deleted my old Hotmail account months ago, but had to make another one when upgrading the newest version of MSN (MSN didn't like my e-mail addy apparently, gave me no choices but to create a hotmail account to upgrade). Blah. Well I see nothing's changed, sigh. I have 150 e-mails of crap, loan ads, pills for sale, and porn at 80% of the 150. I mean to me it is just ridiculous the amounts of junk mail you get with Hotmail. And I have MSN on right now, so when I receive a new e-mail this box pops up informing me. Apparently I have just received an e-mail message from c2651p4563@4P4F.... (I'm not putting the entire thing in, who knows what it could be! *shudder*). With an addy like that, you KNOW something is up. Does anyone get these mails and think "oooo, lookie, I have a message from c2651p4563@4P4F...., I must read this important looking coded message!" No, a name like that goes straight to the trash can. And i get these pornmails too. I think they pass your addy on to other porn spammers, cause i get at least 20 different pornmails every day. I've stopped clicking on the option that you no longer wish to receive crap from them, cause they keep sending them, no matter how many times you click. I bet if i check my mail this moment, it's filled with naughty barn girls and god knows what more.

Did you check the little box that says you don't want them let companies and so on have your address? They helpfully have it unchecked as the default option. I never get spam in my new hotmail addy, and only a tiny bit in my old one. Maybe that's why?

Dont you wish you could give spamers a piece of your mind? They might think twice before sending their crap your way again. You always got to be careful when registering at websites that they dont sign you up for god knows what.

Hotmail seems to generate a lot of spam, but I was under the impression that because it was web based, it couldn't actually run any scripts on your PC, so the chances of contracting a virus from hotmail was very slim.
I haven't checked e-mails for about a month, but my primary ISP mail account had 44 new e-mails, but business account 87 and hotmail, which I haven't checked in about 3 had 114, but my account had reached it's size limit!
