I have some times I would like to sell. It seems like eBay would be the best place. They are Warhammer miniatures. I have tried taking digital photos of some of the pieces but they never look sharp.
I'm wondering if it's worth all the hassle or if I should just take them down to this place called zold who sell things on eBay. Some of my pieces have won first place in Games Workshop painting contests and I know they would go for a good price.

Get the best pic you can, and put them up. I've not had much luck, but I didn't really have anything cool to sell.

Its all about selecting the right lighting and getting the right angle when taking shots that will govern how an item sells. I have taken some pics that I wished could have come out better of things before, and they sold in less than a week, to my surprise.

Don't mean to take the thread offtopic, but geez hasn't eBay's stock gone down the gurgler in recent months. I foolishly listened to my broker when he said "buy" when it was "undervalued" at $34, now it's $23!!! Bastard.

There was a place out here that did Ebay work for folks. They charged a minimum of 30% of the sale for their commission... quite hefty, all things considered.

I decided to put my stuff up myself, and it sold easily enough. They've since gone out of business... 30% is a pretty big chunk to give up.

I'd put it up yourself, making sure you take good pictures. You might also try a local gaming shop to see if they'd put your work on consignment.

I tried the gaming shops and they told me to put it eBay and get more monry. You're about the commission too. 30% is a lot. Thar's about what this place charges.

How do you work out the shipping rates and what did you set up for payment?
