I'm sorry but Deekin sounds like he's got sommat stuck up his behind. Tomi sounds like he's 'an englishman in new york' if you know what I mean and Linu it seems has come down with a bad (and permanent) cold. Overall this time round the voiceacting is poor, you can easily spot the same voiceactor being used multiple times - he's not very good. I think SOU holds the shining torch amongst all the expansions IMHO.

Yup! And frankly SOU wasn't that great either (good but not excellent). Deekin sounds downright miserable.

Ah...longing for the days of quality in Torment. (Main character's voice there was done by the lead actor in the television series "The Pretender" - did we get anything like that to choose from this time NO! Instead we get a few more male voices to choose from and they all sound like some old fart that needs to be taken out into a field and ..... Still the only ones I can tolerate are the Stealth Specialist and the Reseverd Gaurdian - and just barely at that!)

And how about those pitiful new "portraits" - they are absolutly HORRIBLE!!! Looks like a no talent 9 year old created them, NOT a seasoned professional graphics artist. (that blackguard portrait that was with SOU is the kind of quality they all should be..)

Going to try tomorrow if I can get myself to load a SoU game haven't finished it but I'm in chapter 2 and I'm guess I'm nealry at the end.

Though I haven't played NWN OC too much I found Linu did have a strange voice. The voice of that fighter/bard was cool

i like the new deekin better. he sounds like he's grown up and been thru a lot in his travels alone. but he still has that old mischievious sound once in awhile, which is cute.

Ok some of the voiceacting is good, like that of the Reaper, but again if you listen you can still hear that It's the same guy being used over and over : /.

So far I have thoughtthe voice work is superior to the previous games. I like it. Of course Im only in the early stages of Chapter 2.
