Sad stuff. I don't know that being willing to commit 700 measley troops in the face of genocide counts as taking any big sort of lead. The US quickly got in over its head using the same tactic in Mogadishu.

I hope they are not counting on us too very much (does anyone). Everyone knows that the Dutch only deploy forces after the conflict is over.
