I think that draining 3 levels is a bit of an overkill.
Also add a save VS spells on the second one for the slowness. PS: Hope the regeneration's not 100HP per second!! ------------------ Greetings Mortals. My Name Is Wah, Arch Lich Wah. |

+5 is rather excessive actually. Most +5 weapons tend to have just one special ability other than the huge damage and THAC0 bonuses that they inherently have. The +3 and +4 weapons are the feature-heavy ones.

good point!
Hmm what about Sleepy Hollow (katana +5) Level Drain (3lvls no save) Or Sleepy Hollow (Katana +5) make a save vrs poison (-5) or victim falls asleep for 5 rounds! Or Blazer (short sword +3) make save vrs death (+2) if victim fails then Spell: color spray is cast on victim! no save |

Why not make the Sleepy Hollow katana be able to behead an opponent like the Silver Sword? Like maybe a 20% chance of killing the target outright at a -2 save vs. death, and an immunity to sleep and fear.
And for the Short Sword, you could make it give you +1 attacks and the ability to slow an enemy at a -1 save vs. spell, and maybe make it drain 1 lvl per hit. Or you could alternatively make it drain the target of 1 dex or 1 str at a save vs. spell per hit and add the stats to your character for say..30 seconds. ------------------ Why?
