Default Computer Gaming Picture

It is in relation to this thread about finally deciding to get the computer quad core with Windows Vista.
link: http://www.ironworksforum.com/forum/...ght=amd+phenom

I do know it would set me back 2 months financially but after what I have been through the past week after receiving my computer Ive just got to show it to you guys what a AMD quad core with windows vista 64bit can do. All thanks to your advice guys, I couldnt have done it without yous.

Graphics up to the max or nearly up to the max in nearly all games.

And Finally Call of Duty 4 which I just finished. It is unbelievably unreal.

I do know I am showing off but I just cant help it. I feel like a kid again . It is so worth saving up for this kind of computer to those who still play but it is just ... WoW...

Great choice of games. Call of Duty 4 is one of the best singleplayer experiences in the FPS world, and has amazing graphics.

Oh you lucky *)%*&#*(&%#!!!

How have you been? Doing well I hope. AMD all the way! I am enjoying Vista... I don't know why. CoD 4 is indeed a good game.

Have any pictures of your rig? Any nicknames yet?

Sounds great, I'm glad it's running so well for you!

PS: I know it's a fairly mediocre game, but you should give Crysis a looksie...it's not anything revolutionary, but it's sooooooo pretty. Even on High settings, without AA (which is where my 8800GTS 512 system tops out)...

At one point, I just sat there staring at the screen, in awe of the realism of a distant hillside...I even had to call my roommate into the room to see it, and he agreed.

Nice, nice, nice! Have you found any issues using Vista 64 especially concerning drivers?

I know Vista has been bludgeoned more times than I can count, but I also know a number of serious gamers who also build their own systems and they love Vista, especially the 64 version.
