Hello Wendy!
Hello All!
I chose this as the best thread for a quick introduction.
My name is Violet...simply put: English for the small purple flower. It seems to me like it should hold some more profound meaning but then hey, what the heck, its a pretty flower!

I had thought that my sign on name would be the same as my publicly viewed name but its just as well since Violet doesn't open the doors to as many jokes as The Skeevestress does.

Which brings me to my question to you; What's a Skeeve?
Don't hold back! I am anxious to know what it calls to mind in you no matter how far out there it may come from. I am not easily offended either so let your imaginations fly! (easier for Wendy than the rest of us hee hee! Sorry Wendy I just had to get that Peter Pan reference in there!)

I'll let you in on the "official" definition later.

Hi Violet! Well, I've never heard the word Skeeve used like that, but I have heard people use 'skeevy', although not recently. It usually refers to something that is kind of yucky or dirty or otherwise less than salubrious
