Remember the first game between the two sides - and the late penalty? I think it's the other way around if something 'suspicious' will happen.

ut I'm not really concerned Kim Milton Nielsen (from Denmark) is the referee - he's the man who sent off Beckham against Argentina in France '98.

I see that the sheep are still BLEATING about conspiracy in a clutching-at-straws effort to explain away their teams’ poor form.

At the end of the day, the FACTS are:

 • South Korea made the semifinals of the World Cup, becoming the first Asian nation ever to make in in the top 4. They may have been helped by poor refereeing but that is the fault of the referees, not them
 • Germany, ridiculed by other European nations as being boring and crap, are in the final with a chance to win their FOURTH WC
 • Spain missed the semis YET AGAIN to be underachievers YET AGAIN
 • Italy went out in the second round, showing what an OVERRATED, UNDERACHIEVING side they are - what happened to all the players getting paid $$$?? Not only that, they have taken the prize for being the biggest WHINGING SORE LOSERS in history – typified by that Perugia moron Gaucci sacking the Korean Ahn for scoring a goal against Italy – talk about a DUMMY-SPITTING SORE LOSER. Then they re-hire him again after there’s an outcry.
 • Portugal didn’t even make it past the group stage, showing that their temperament is not on par with their “supposed” talent (not that we saw much of it – again OVERRATED)
 • Argentina – another bunch of overrated, overhyped also-rans who despite having a squad valued in the $ billions could not even make the second round. Were only good enough to beat Nigeria in their group.
 • France – worst ever performance by a defending champion. Marcel Desailly said before the game that he had arranged for his friends and family to be in Korea for the semifinals, since they didn’t want to watch 1st round match. Dare I say that ARROGANCE and DISRESPECT to opposition led to their downfall?
 • Brazil, written off by everyone at the start of the tournament, are now in a position to win their 5th WC
 • Holland, despite having so many good players, didn’t even make the WC
Those are the facts – so take it on the chin and stop SOOKING!!!

im sorry, but i just cant help it!!!

ronaldo says beckhams shirt smelled of perfume

after last days game, 'o fenomeno' swapped his shirt with beckham, and to his surprise it smelled very good. "normally, the shirts we exchange after the match dont smell very well, since they are all sweaty. however, beckhams smelled of perfume", the brasilian striker explained, who jokingly added,"you can tell he takes good care of himself". the thing is even more strange considering he played the entire match and the temperature during the game was around 30º celsius.

I take it you think i'm one of the sheep memnoch, but conspiracy is one word i never used, just very bad arbitrage that had a big impact on some of the results.

The problem is that with so few matches remaining - we have to find something to discuss - otherwise this thread will end up on page two!

And arguing over the calls from the referees have and always will be a favourite pasttime among footballfans - I mean everybody knows that all referees are blind people without their guidedogs

And I haven't mentioned a conspiracy - but lets face it - South Korea progessed twice with the help of bad descisions from the referees and lost when they didn't get any 'help'.

I don't really care whether the referees were bribed or not (we'll probably never know for sure - after all you can't prove that they weren't) - but I challange anyone to argue the fact that (for instance) Spain was robbed of two totally legel goals.

Notice that I didn’t mention anyone by name – hopefully nobody had a guilty feeling in reading my post!

Maybe they aren't as 'creative' as Brazil, but

no talent??? , and

no superstar?? - Oliver Kahn comes pretty close

good organisation, teamspirit and the best goalkeeper in the world may just have something to do with it
Yeah but they are abit..just a tad........boring

Spain weren't robbed two legal goals.

Anyhow, Sepp Blatters has been criticising the ref. decisions.
The refs aren't blind though, it's just theat they don't have the benefit of TV replays to make a decision. In cricket we had probs with umpireing until we added a third TV umpire. Perhaps there should be a second TV ref, that makes a call if referred to by the on-field ref. Makes more sense to me.
