I was looking through various bugs that are in BG2, and discovered that there is a connection between the SPOILER
' ' ' ' -------------------------------------------------------- twisted runes, the slaves and the guarded compound, can please tell me what the connection is and how are you suppoes to see this connection?? Don't worry about spoilers it don't bother me. |

I think it turns out as one of the romances/strongholds. Nalia perhaps. The person she is supposed to marry is a slaver, and as the storyline progresses, you figure out what's going on.

The connection is a large quest that was supposed to be in the game. Bits of the supporting scripts and characters are still in - letting us get Staff of the Magi and Celestial Fury, as well as a few lesser treasures. But the main quest and its plot are missing from the game.
Maybe one of the mod teams could re-create it, but theyd need Biowares assistance to get it the way it was originaly intended.
