Is it me or is Edwin the most powerful mage in the game?
Man dooes he rock!!! He has so many spells per level. At level 12 (where you are suppose to be able to cast level 6 spells) he had 5 squares in level 6 spells. Exept his low constition and strenght, he is the best. To all those who never played with him, wake up! |

His items give him extra spells, so , yes he does have more spells than any other mage...
On the other hand, it is a question of the alignment of your party... ------------------ The RudeDawg Known in these Forgotten Realms as Perin LightEyes |

I always saw Edwin as a wonderful stereotype. I mean, the evillest Wizards are the most powerful, right? I can imagine Edwin reading his spellbook by the fire of the camp, committing his spells to memory and cackling over a particularly destructive incantation. He's the kind of guy who wakes up and thinks 'Whose lives shall I make a misery today?'

gota give the devil his due.
evil characters are usually portrayed as powerful, 'cause they work harder at it... They obsess about taking over the world, and plan it out. They raise armies, call forth demons, and do whatever it takes... They've got the work ethic going for them... ------------------ The RudeDawg Known in these Forgotten Realms as Perin LightEyes |

So, do you see Edwin as an anti-hero, or what?
Tancred Is there such a thing as an anti-villain? |

No, Edwin is just someone who thinks that he is the game. He is a perfect lawful evil character. He is no anti-hero, he ain't no hero point.

Apparently the unremovable necklace he wears increases hi sspell capacity. I loved his personal quest. That was so funny
