Diamond Soul is the 12th level monk bonus feat that gives a monk (10 + MONK levels) Spell Resistance. So, if you have a Monk 12/Rogue 3 character his/her SR would be 22 not 25.
Improved Spell Resistance is an Epic feat that improves your SR by 2 points. It can be taken several times up to a maximum of +20 SR as a epic level feat (CLVL 21, 24, 27, 30, 33, 36 or 39) or as a Monk bonus feat (Monk level 25, 30, 35 or 40). A level 3 Rogue get the Uncanny Dodge feat which lets them retain their Dexterity AC bonus even when caught flatfooted. Defensive Roll is a Rogue bonus feat that can be taken at Rogue levels 10, 13, 16 or 19. Defensive Roll is the feat that is a prerequisite for Epic Dodge. |

My mistake on Defensive Roll. Instead of Rogue levels, take 5 levels of Shadowdancer and get it automatically.
Epic Dodge with at least 45 SR is a pretty good all around defensive build. |

I usually take 1 level in wizard just to be able to cast stone skin and resist elements and to use wands. When I do that then I put 2 points into spell craft.
I have thought about putting 1 level in clerical but never tried it? Has any tried that option? I think it could be pretty good to tie the wisdom bonus in 2 different ways!!

Oh no, Marathon is getting closer to me...
For Epic Dodge, you need both Improved Evasion, and Defensive roll. 10 levels of shadow dancer would give you both of those, so if your tumble is high enough, 25, I believe, you can take Epic dodge. A dex based monk with decent wisdom, and epic dodge would almost be impossible to hit.

The build i like is 5 druid 11 shifter 24 monk; if i wait till low 30s before i level up my shifter to epic i can get dragon form instead of undead form.
my shifted dragon form without any equipment bonus has an attack of 45 and an AC of 67 (which i can buff to 47 and 70 using bullstrength & barkskin) |

I have fallen in love with Monks. My current build is Shadowdancer 10/Monk 30, dexterity based.
Next build I'm planning on incorporating 10 levels of Red Dragon Disciple, with strength and dexterity. And next time: NO Circle Kick! |
