I'm surprised you all say they are relatively uncommon where you live. They are almose everywhere out here in California. I agree though, they do take some getting used to.

My personal unreasonable fear is of cross-eyed nuns carrying bullwhips and drinking from gin bottles! Really, they frighten me terribly!

What about the futuristic toilets!? There a few around where I live and they are even more scary. I'll explain. The cubicle surrounding the toilet is like a curved box with advertising on it. You press a button and the door kinda slides open. There is only one toilet and a sink. You do your bussiness then when you're finished, you wash your hands and walk out. Then you look at the small computer screen near where the open button is and it says "Cleaning". It cleans the whole area around the toilet, the toilet and the sink!
A funny thing is though if you take more than 20 minutes the door slides open automatically! You wouldn't like to have a serious case of diareha . |
