well personally if I pay like $50 for a game I don't want to have to pay more each month to play the game, I don't care if the monthly fee is cheap or not.

I see your points. Don't get me wrong i'm not thrilled about the Pay per play thing either. I'll still buy this game though. I've got FF2, VII, VIII, VIX, and X. I'm not going to skip XI. Oh and BTW, I heard Battle.net is coming with a pay per play game too. It's called World of Warcraft.

Playstation two naturally. Why I thought you had a Game Cube?
Oh and Campino if you ever figure out how to beat Ozma let me know. You get a different ending if you beat him, and I just gave up on that cheap thing. *sigh*

My characters are around level 60,i protect them against shadow
as much as possible, and my character's level aren't a multiple of
4 or 5 (lvl 5 death,lvl 4 holy).His doomsday spell heals my characters,but his Cursespell hits me soooo hard I haven't
reached the 4th round yet.But i'll be victorious one day

What are you guys talking about? I really want to know because I just started playing FF9. Im just beat the antillion or whatever it is called, so that means I am a little ways into disc 2. Also if anyone knows what those darn numbers and letters are for in the card game, I would greatly appreciate it. One other thing I got all these key items & crap from the auction house will those ever come in hand or was that just a waste of my hard fought for money?

WooHoo post 500!

At the auction I only buy the Dark Matter which allows you to summon Odin.

Now here's teh story on the cards.......

Each card has a combination of four letters and numbers on it. These numbers and letters display the strength of the card, and determine which card wins in a card battle.

1. The first number is the card's attack power in hexadecimal, from 0 to E, with E being the highest.

2. The second statistic is the card's attack type. P is Physical, M is Magical, X attacks the lowest defense number, and A attacks the lowest number on the card.

3. The third number is the card's physical defense in hexadecimal. The fourth number is the card's magical defense in hexadecimal.

When two cards battle, the just-placed card attacks using the attack number (the first stat on the card) and the attack type (the second stat on the card). The just-played card's attack number is compared to the corresponding defense number on the enemy card. The card with the highest number usually wins, although there is a small chance that a weaker card can still beat a stronger card.
You can raise the statistics on cards by playing with certain cards over and over and winning numerous Tetra Master games with them.

When a card is captured in a battle, that card will then capture any cards at which its arrows point to. This is called a "Combo," the art of capturing multiple cards at once. Mastering combos is key to winning the card game. A card with many arrows, while being very versatile, is also more vulnerable to counter combo-attacks.

There's a lot more to it and a lot of rare cards you can find if the card game really interests you. I'll let you know how to get them all if you like, next time I talk to you.
