For now, I'm waiting for Starfleet Armanda II to be released here in the UK. Return to Castle Wolfenstein is looking pretty good too. One or two items for the Christmas list methinks...

The min specs for NWN are panning out like this at the moment:

(from www.neverwinternights.com)
...minimum system specifications currently are a Pentium II 300 MHz or AMD K6-2 350 MHz, a TNT2 or Voodoo 3 class video card, and 64 MB of RAM.

So it's not looking too hungry at the moment.

Well that's me boned

Got a P2 400 with a voodoo 2. I was thinking of buying a cheap Geforce 2 card for about £60 or a TnT2 for £30, but I'm not sure it's worth it. Any thoughts?

Though it was nice when it first came out, the TnT range is looking a bit dusty now. It has problems with some of the newer releases, which utilise technology you'll only find on more modern cards. A friend of mine still uses a TnT 2 and swears by it. Each to their own I suppose...

The GeForce 2 is a nice solid 3D card with plenty of power in any incarnation. I'm running an Ultra but they're probably still a bit on the expensive side. You could always try the GTS or even the MX. I'm not entirely sure what prices are like but I'm sure a quick paddle with a search engine will tell you all you need to know.
