ok heres a little story i read thought to myslef what a smart guy then further
down i thought hmmmm guess he wasnt so smart.. A north carolina lawyer purchased a rare and very expensive box of cigars.. he then insured them against fire among other things, within a month he had smoked all of the cigars.and so wothout even making his first premium payment on the policy he filed a claim against insurance co. In his claim he stated the cigars were lost to "a series of small fires" of coarse the insurance co. refused to pay citing the obvious reason:that the man had consumed the cigars in a normal fashion...he sued and won!!!!!!! In delivering the ruling the judge agreed with the ins co. that the claim was frivolous then he stated nevertheless, that the lawyer did have a valid policy from the co. in which it had warranted that the cigars were insurable and guranteed that it would insure them against fire without defining what is considered to be unacceptable fire....and was obligated to pay the claim. Rather than endure a lengthy and expensive appeal process the ins. co. accepted the ruling and paid $15,000.00 to the lawyer. Ok now for the best part....After the lawyer cashed the check the insurance co. had him arrested for ARSON!!!! The lawyer with his own ins calim and testimony from previous case being used against him the lawyer was convicted of intentionally burning his insured property and was sentenced to 24 months in jail and a 24,000.00 fine. Just wanted to share this thought it was slick lol
