Two corrupted dragons? They are surrounded by some kind of aura.

Quite a few of the powerful monsters have some kind of aura. It's what causes you to be frightened I think. Dragons in 3rd ed have a fear ability that causes you to run away just by looking at them. I think this is the aura.

it may be that or some spell effect. Right clicj on the dragon and look at it to find out if it's been enchanted. As I recall they were boith good metallic dragons so maybe they were controlled

What's your class and level? What sort of equipment do you have? Who is your henchman?

I got past them easily with a solo 18th level monk. I had the greater swordsman's belt, which gives great damage resistance to slashing, and a Ring of Elements, which gives 15 resistance to all elemental damage. I may have needed to heal once during the fight.

Take out the weaker copper dragon first, then go after the silver.

19th level Paladin, with Sharwyn. It's not the slashing but the damned breath weapons. I have the Greater Swordsman's Belt.

actually, i let the two dragons fight it out . when one of the dragons used its breath area effect spell, it also attacked the other dragon therefor causing them to kill each other. found it funny letting both of them kill themselves off... since i was a socerer i also used tenser transformation. it rocks!!!

Thanks, I killed the copper first, having put on my amulet of acid protection, as well as the Greater Swordsman's Belt. Only one Heal for me and one for Shar. Now about to go into the snake's head doorway.

let me guess - you didn't repair amulet of ages - it gives 30/- reduction against cold and +5 to saves against cold (IIRC)

my lvl 20 fighter (AC 45) had little trouble with them - And I've also just beaten Morag and finished the game

P.S. amulet of the ages is from the snow globe
