Can anyone tell me if there is a shortcut from brimloch roon to the shire (other side of the dragonspire)or do I have to travel everytime through the caves. I have to get back to ishad 'na to claim some solved quests and some other things(and also be boogred)

Ideally, you should learn moon magic and teleport/portal back and forth.
Two other things are: You can also use moon magic and vanish between the two (if you're lucky...I have been) where the paths are very close (before mtn).
One way thingy, you can fall off the entrance to erathsmedors cavern and end up in the other map

The shortest fall off the rampart of Dragon Spire is just past the tree line. To climb back up the ramp to return to Brimloch Roon, look up at the edge and push the party up against the ramp wall while jumping, heading toward the tree line. With Athletic 5 on the leader, we usually pop right up onto the ramp. Not sure the skill makes the difference though, because I've always given the leader a build in Athletics so haven't tried without.

About falling: I never noticed any difference in damage, no matter from how high I fell. Anybody other experiences?
