No offence, but that was the simpilest poll I've ever voted on.
OF COURSE I LOVED IT!!!!!! IT WAS THE SWEETEST!!!! HORAY!!!! Oh yeah and BTW, I have a bootlegged copy of the trailer for The Two Towers! That looks just as sweet! Especially Helms Deep! BOO-YA!!!

Here's the thing - effects where great. IF you read the book, you sat there most of the time going - wait a minute, it didn't happen that way...then thinking, well, they didn't change the important part and to put it all in would make an eight hour movie...
And if you HAVEN'T read the book, you think it's great, until it ends and you're sputtering "But...but...but it didn't accomplish anything, how can they end it like that?" So I think it's a Really Good movie that was done quite well. BK

Yeah that bothered me the most. Not the fact that they left things out. That didn't bother me that much, it was the people who had never read J.R.R. Tokien before. "THATS IT?!!?" they would say. "Well thats not a good ending!"
I was tempted to say... READ THE DARNED BOOKS YOU FOOLS!!!!! on too many occations to count.

That was the most beautiful and well done fantasy movie ever! I WILL go see the other movies in the series, and I WILL own the entire set on DVD!

I'm gonna get a DVD player just for that series of films. I just have to have them in german and english. I can't wait for "the two towers".
