ahh..the age old nigerian email scam trick. when you reply the scammer via email they'll send you a telephone number that will cost you $24000 if you go ahead and make that call. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Yes, it is a scam.
The names of the (late) leader, country, sums, circumstances differ, but the same thread runs through all these emails. 1. They need to move money out of the country. 2. For some unfathomable reason, they think that only YOU could help them achieve this. 3. They dangle a carrot of a certain percentage of the funds. What happens to the person who takes the bait is that due to whatever, "unforseen" reasons, the victim will be asked to deposit a sum of money (typically a few thousands of dollars) in a bank account somewhere. Once this is done, that's the last you'll hear from them. Sad to say some people have been duped, even here in Singapore. Remember- if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
