Hello all! While my wife works her butt off to keep the roof over our head (I'm off until July!), I'm back to figuring this game out (in all fairness, she leaves a "to-do" list for me *grin*). Here's my questions:
1) What skill goes along with Forge for repairing items? 2) Any tips on when to switch one of my two wizards into a warlock? I'm still pretty early on in the game (not entered the crypt yet but have been collecting money and doing the guild quests first so all my people are around 4-5 level). 3) Likewise, any tips on switching my Priest to a monk? Thanks again, all, for your help! PS. Wyv-not that you'd remember me but I broke down and bought a new computer - no more RAM problems. .. |

check out the 'Best Tips' thread you might find your answers there...
http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/No.../004753-3.html as for the wizard, I'll wait until they are over 17th level (training and spell-wise especially enchantments) I'll wait until my priest is over 16th level (training, spells, and blessings) [This message has been edited by adam warlock (edited 06-15-2001).] |

Hi there, glad you get off that easily with your wife, mine is more demanding
OK, I'll answer your questions quickly: 1- Forge ---> blacksmith 2- Wait until you've obtained Meteorstorm before you make the switch. Don't go higher than lvl 3 in Sun for now. 3- You won't be able to take them to a Monk before the second town. If that's your plan, I suggest you concentrate on Vine for now because once you change to monk, you only learn it at 1/2 of your level (level 7 vine will give you lvl 3 spells) Finally, go visit the best tips... it's a wealth of information. Good luck on your adventures and keep us posted. |

Thanks all, for your help! Not that I don't need any I can get. .
Ryan, thanks a lot. Essentially push the Stone magic for the wanna-be Warlock (let my other one do the Sun thing) and push the Vine for my wanna-be Monk (let the paladin start pushing Spirit in the meantime. Thanks a lot and I'll keep you posted (about the game - not about how much trouble I get into for playing it *grin*). Oh, I checked the best tips - it was great - Thanks! |
