Searches only work on items that have been added during the testing - new posts or replies to older posts.
I'm unable to determine whether this is a "search string" or an "orignal posting date" problem, though. I'm really hoping that Ziroc will reset the clocks on the forums.
Currently they seem to be on some odd time zone and has caused the posts to seeminly be out of order. That's the only major problem with the posts that I have found. Search - as you noted do not currenly work on the posts being imported. I hope that is something which can be corrected! |

Yep, I corrected the clock, I was thinking that I had to add the -5 to reflect GMT, but the option was to OFFSET server time. Doh!
 I also compiled all the indexes for searches, so those work now, but can be slow for BG2 and W&W forums since they are so huge (I'll prune some old posts to the 'archives) so that should help. Thanks all for posting your testing results PS: Rick, I'll get that correction to the walkthrough up soon, just been busy on the forum this week. Ziroc Ironworks Webmaster |
