6th edition, you have to move with the times. Using the dwarf army book. I prefer the new edition to the fifth, much more efficient, especially the magic phase.

I'm still playing the previous edition with my conniving rat-bastard (Skaven-player ) of a friend, but I have the new edition Army Book..
Its a lot weaker than I'm used to, but then everything's been lowered so I guess that helps. There is a lot more distinction between powerful fighters and uber-mages now.

Ok how about a little poll now, list your every army starting with the ones you like working down to the ones you dislike, here's mine

1-Dwarfs 10-Chaos warriors
2-Chaos dwarfs 11-Chaos Deamons
3-Dogs of war* 12-Tomb kings
4-Orcs and Goblins 13-Bretonnians
5-Skaven 14-Wood elves
6-High elves 15-DARK ELVES(I hate these)
7-Vampire counts
8-Empire
9-Beastmen
*I consider the Dogs of war army to be a seperate army.

Unfortunately it uses #rd edition rules and I don't like 3E, and I unfortuntely don't have the patience to paint several hundred troops, maybe mordenheim would be more for me... oh well, I'll think of something, and I really do want to get into it.

I used to love the Warhammer models. Stick them together, paint them, create armies.... brilliant. I had a whole Ultramarine legion once, it looked fantastic. But it takes a lot of time and money to really get into it.

Sigmar - I think my list goes something like this:

Most liked - Undead, Dogs of War, Lizardmen, Dwarfs,

Most Disliked - Bretonnians, Elves of any kind,

Actually I do have a quick question for Lifetime if he is still around. When I was playing the other day I had a skeleton unit armed with double handed weapons, heavy armour, and sheilds. When one or two got killed I casted Raise Dead to resurrect them. When the skeletons are added to the unit do they have the same weapons? I am getting a lot of free weaponry out of it if they do. But it creates all sorts of headaches if they aren't.

I like both WH and WHK40,000 and have collected armies for both, but due to lack of funds/lack of people to play with discontinued with my WH army.
For Warhammer I collected Wood Elves with my favourite units being the Wood Elf King and Eagle riders. Collected about 1000 points worth before concentrating on 40,000.
In 40,000 I collected Eldar with my focus being on a large aspect warrior army with an Avatar, A farseer, two warlocks, and some auxilery guardians. Most recent purchase being Morgan-Ra the Dark Reaper Pheonix Lord. Still collecting and painting these ATM.

Hello! So no-one here plays WQ, Necromunda or Blood Bowl?
They are truly great games, each on a par with Warhammer, just all different.

The skellies are armed exactly as the original unit. That's why they cost so many points for regular rank and file troops

As for the list of least/most annoying armies, probably
High Elves
Skaven
Dark Elves
All Chaos
Lizardmen
Wood Elves
Empire
All Undead
Orcs and Goblins
Bretonnia
Dwarves
Dogs of War
Chaos Dwarves

But I could als make a list of most interesting armies, best looking armies, toughest oponnent, most fun to play etc.
They'd all be different
