This is a game Blizzard has been working on for years, a game that they wanted to deliver to the world, not just to make profits, but to continue it's tradition of great bug-free games and to satisfy it's loyal fans.

If Blizzard wanted to the company could have dished out a run of the mill RTS, perhaps even a subpar one, knowing full well that people would have brought the game because of it's prequels and it's name alone. But no, the company worked for years on a game that was not only good, but revolutionary in the world of RTS games, and they even wasted more resoureces on ensuring that their game was completely bug-free, I can tell you many companies nowadays wouldn't be willing to do that, especially wih a big name like Warcraft (hw would I know you're probably thinking well I'm quoting the CEO of 3DRealms softwear who had a recent interview).

A labour of love they called it. Now do you think Blizzard will spend as much time on a new game knowing that there is a possibility of them being pirated or stolen, no they wouldn't be to eager, perhaps they willloe enough money to make a sequel of Warcraft or Strcraft for that matter impossible. Most of all to see a company like Blizzard to go down (no matter how unlikely that it is) would be a terrible shame, as they are what developers should strive to be like. I hope the piraters get theres and to reply to your statement Dragonsbane no I don't see the funny side no matter how hard I try.
