Im doing a solo bard and ive reached level 11 before im even at the 2nd chapter, and i stop getting xp from my kills. I mean i read the tips that say depending on ur xp u may get lil to no xp for kills, but i didnt think it would happen so soon, this sucks.

The tip actually say that if you're at a high level, you'll get little to no xp for killing weaker enemies. The 1st Chapter of the game is full of goblins and they're probably considered to be those weaker enemies.

If its so annoying, take on a squire or something for the extra xp. [img]tongue.gif[/img] You could always get rid of him later on or something.
I actually like this 3rd ed idea of lessening xp as you encounter the same creatures more often, it makes perfect sense. Its also a nice contrast to the ridiculous amounts of xp you were given in Throne of Bhaal.

It may suck but it is ture roleplaying. It makes sense doesn`t it? Just wait until next few chapters.

Then why can i stil be hurt and killed by these lesser creatures? If it wasnt for the number of kills goin up, id ctrl-y em all.

because its more life-like and realistic if they did damage, and "ctrl-Y"ing takes the fun out of the game IMO...no XP is just one more challenge to soloing a character
