Wow that must be pretty surreal! I wish Brisbane was like that - we'd avoid all these tedious debates on whether we should have daylight saving!

I know it is summer because the dang birds won't shut up, the crickets are driving me insane and it is hot

How hot is it there in Arkansas? Usually, at this time of the year, we reach pretty high temperatures, but lately, we've gotten nothing but cold air following thunderstorms.. Very nasty and extremely unpleasant.

during the day it has reached up in the 90 f. which mean it will be in the hundreds come july and august we have reached 115 before

Was 91f yesterday! It's coming fast!!! I hate the smeltering days we get here. Has been up to 115 and steady for weeks before. We average 100. It is a real dry dusty heat.
