I have winzip, and I went to unzip a mod I wanted to install. The trouble is, when I double click on the program, the window that pops up is messed up. When I double click the program, the window pops up for literally, a second, and then vanishes. I have no idea what caused this problem, and what I can do to fix it. Any ideas for a computer idiot?

The window pops up, then vanishes, before I can do anything.

I have winzip 8.1. Noticing something else, the little icon ahead of the thing I want to unzip, (DungeonBeGone, actually) is a the "E" for internet explorer. Should it be like that?

No, it shoudln't. Bring up winzip through the start menu, you should get a message abot file associations. Tell the program ot re-associae with .zip files and it should work.

You can also do this through options->configuration->system.

The other possibibility is that you have downloaded the worng thing, certain download managers occasionaly download the download webpage rather than the file itself. That would explain why its got the IE icon on it.
