Besides Felix, which is also the name of my four legged furry house companion, I usually pick names from within easy reach of my desk top. Ok, so I "cough" borrow "cough" names.

Felix = quite, lean, nimble = Rogue
Lowenbrau = Dim wits = Fighter
Specter = Bright, colorful= Mage
Yamah = Loud, noisy = Dwarf
HP = never complains, waits for orders = Preist
Sunon = Always blowing hot air = Barbarian
Jack Daniels = Another dim wit (with class) = Paladin

Names from books always makes me want to play that way. I'm an individualist, so I play my way.

hey there moiraine sedai , I have been a dungeon master for going 16yrs and still play it every week with my wife we have a on going campaign that has been going on for near 10 of those yrs and in these yrs between play d&d and playing any rpg game i can get hold of I have thought up many many names ..as well as getting dungeons character names book and the god mythology book names such as kestral,shadow walker,roc',torquil,quintella,heirgray(a king in the ares realm),zarrick,stone,nightstalker,kaladash,tuskada ro,belar,kos,meliki,lovatar,
shazaray,to name a few good luck with your names and gaming ...whiteknight
