Here's an article on the benefits of dark beer:

http://content.health.msn.com/conten...e/76/90285.htm

And based on this I think I will go get a beer.

"is dark brew because it can help prevent blood clots" Umm yeah. That positive remark really outweighs all other consequences from drinking beer. I mean one could end up as johnny; cute, dang funny, simply a nice guy. And we wouldn't want that would we?

Seriously, if you believe this article and start drinking dark beer instead of light to lessen the chance of stroke, heart attack, thrombus etc. then you're just plain stupid. It's like saying "Nicotine is good for you so smoke all you want!"

I think it's like the red wine theory.... Moderation is always the word.

well hallo there , being from a famed land of beer drinkers , i couldnt let this thread go by with out giving a plug for the best beer in the universe , that being "Victoria bitter" or as its better known VB by the Carlton and United brewies of south bank, Victoria, Australia.

now thats a beer ! Of course , you drink it freezing cold ......... not warm like some others...shudders at the thought.

cheeeers
