OK, my address bar has simply vanished and despite all my efforts I cannot get it to reappear. This makes navigating the web almost impossible. Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance, pcgiant.

Okay, this is a 'did you insert the plug' type of question, but did you try 'View' -> Toolbars -> Address Bar?

I did indeed, nothing changed, except the word 'Address' appeared on the right side of the window.

The right side? Did you try grabbing the vertical bar in front of the word and dragging it around a bit? Say, to the left side of the screen?

Nope, Legolas, I've tried that. Nothing seems to work! Gah, how I loathe XP.
