I got quite a bit of stuff - more than I expected. I got some CDs (Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Brahms symphonies), books, a daily calendar, a silver necklace and silver hoop earrings, a six-ways cookie cutter, some chocolate cherries, some brightly coloured bedsheets. I also got a necklace and earring set from my dad as a graduation gift.

But actually the most fun I had on Christmas morning was watching as my family opened the gifts I got for them - I'd put a lot of time into thinking exactly what they would like as I try to avoid 'generic' gifts so seeing if they liked them was the most satisfying thing for me
