I don't know exactly where,but, at some point I ran into a bug. I haved tried old saves, but eventually I work my way back into a freeze up bug. It's too bad really because this was probably one of my favorite games of all time. I didn't post that often but I sure read a lot here.

Same thing happened to me once...had to re-install after I replaced some bad memory and got rid of Direct X 8...no reason you can't try again in the future!
Hope you have fun with Icewind Dale and seriously...give thought to giving W&W another chance, it is a great game! : ) Moni |
