a 110mb cartoon over dialup, almost an hour of it.
Worth it though, really violent etc. hahaha

i guess it would be better if i actually got 56k but not even that, i have a friend who gets 28k in town and another who lives out of town a bit who is lucky to get 20k, well i guess it's worse for them.

I too suffer from 56k woes.

A tip for downloading large files: (if you have one phoneline, unlimited hours, unlimited downloads)

Leave your download on during the night. Your connection may drop out (mine disconnects after 4 hours of being online) but you can always re-connect and leave it on for another couple of hours.

yeah i do so
mine is also set to automatically redial after 4 hours too so it is great to wake up in the morning and have 80-100mb downloaded.
also do you think it would be worth it to pay $80 (Australian) a month for unlimited ADSL?
